We recognize that some production companies may already
run a RED One camera, or two, but often need to have an
extra cameras for more complex shoots, automatically creating a
more complicated location workflow.

Our Big Red RV is ideal in these situations, because it not only comes with one or more additional camera systems you would rent anyway, and whatever extra lighting, gaffer and audio equipment you need, but also with our own DIT and, if desired, a complete 2nd unit camera crew. Big Red offers a mobile base for all of the essential DIT functions. These include camera set up, matching and monitoring (the DIT doesn’t usually operate camera - but he can!), the management and multiple backup of media from all the cameras, taking camera and media notes, viewing/checking the footage with a rough color correction through REDCine-X and sharing these completed images with the director, crew and clients.

DIT is a vital role on any Ultra HD or HD shoot - and, of course we can also outfit Big Red with an edit and/or digitizing suite or two so rendering and timeline assembly can begin as the shoot is still in progress, saving time and budget while providing the big picture you ideally want.
