CLAi’s Big Red RV can be outfitted in a number of ways -
as a mobile edit suite, a DIT station, a digitizing suite and a
camera platform... or any combination of these.

As a "post studio on the road" it can be outfitted with one or two (front and
rear) full Final Cut Studio/RED Digital Cinema edit systems running on 8 core Apple/Intel Mac Pros, with Kona3/Blackmagic 4k/2k input and output, up to 5TB of fast raid storage per unit, 24-inch or 30-inch apple cinema screens, a broadcast HD-SDI LCD monitor and all of the extra software we might need. We can also add HDCam or DVCProHD master decks to the mix.

For DIT and digitizing only, we can tailor this specification and add multiple 1TB firewire 800 drives and a portable Apple/Intel 17-inch computer with a 23-inch cinema screen and HD LCD monitor.

And for use as a camera platform we can add one or more RED One cameras with RED Pro Prime and zoom lenses, Sony HDW-F900 cameras with wide and standard HD zoom lenses, and/or Canon 7D and 5D MkII - plus all of the usual pro add-ons and toys to shoot on the legs or handheld in any situation, with or without crew.
